12 fresh mint leaves1/2 tsp superfine sugar
1/2 oz simple syrup( prepared by bringing equal parts sugar and water to boil until the sugar dissolves; then chill.
2-3 fresh lychees or canned ( can be purchased at asian markets)
1 ounce lychee juice
1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
2 ounces good quality gin
club soda, or sparkling water
ice
makes 1 serving
method
muddle the sugar, mint leaves and 2 lychees in a highball glass. add crushed ice, simple syrup, lime juice, lychee juice and gin. stir gently and top with club soda or sparkling water to taste. garnish with fresh lychee.images:via
